On a blustery January in that fateful year, disaster unfolded Boston. A massive reservoir filled with sticky, sweet molasses burst sending a torrent of the thick liquid flowing through the streets. The impact was catastrophic, smashing buildings and burying citizens in a sticky soup. Scores of people were killed, and many more sustained injuries.
